Blood Drive
The first annual
Reno Rodeo Blood Drive was held on March 27 at the Atlantis Casino
Resort from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Thanks to the efforts of Cub
Country 94.5 and KOLO News Channel 8, the Reno Rodeo Team 355
members in partnership with United Blood Services,
collected 27 pints
of blood in 4 hours, which is about 7 pints an hour! The
Bloodmobile was operating at full capacity the entire time. The
folks at United Blood Services understand now, more than ever, that
when the Rodeo is involved – we really “get’r done!”
