Cheree Boteler – Executive Director

Cheree Boteler is the Executive Director of the Reno Rodeo Foundation, where she leads efforts to enrich the lives of children and families across 14 Northern Nevada counties.

Since stepping into the role in 2024, Cheree has guided the Foundation through a period of measurable growth and organizational progress. In her first year, the Foundation engaged 464 donors — the highest in a decade — and secured the most new donors in 10 years. She oversaw the redesign of fundraising events to expand awareness and engagement, strengthened flagship programs including Denim Drive, Reading Rooms, Rodeo Wish, and scholarships, and launched the Pathways to Care initiative to connect families with critical resources beyond their Rodeo Wish experience.

She has also advanced the Foundation’s infrastructure by modernizing systems, streamlining operations, and guiding the development of its first 3-Year Strategic Plan, creating a stronger, more transparent, and future-focused organization.
